DOP Art Fair 2026

EVENT INFORMATION

Join us for our Downtown Overland Park (DOP) Art Fair, located in the heart of Overland Park, KS! Enjoy tasty food and live music while browsing beautiful workings from over 100 local artists. Vendors and entertainment will extend from Thompson Park down Santa Fe Drive to 79th Street and from Overland Park Drive on 80th Street from Marty to Conser.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Participation is open to all artist and craftspeople within an 80 mile radius of Overland Park, KS. Must exhibit work of original concept, design, and execution. All work must be original. No work will be exhibited which has been made with the use of commercial kits, molds, patterns, plans, stencils or prefabricated forms. The DOP Art Fair seeks to maintain the highest standards for both artist and viewing public. There is a $25 non refundable application fee. Appling for the DOPP Art Fair does not guantee entry into the event. 

RULES/REGULATIONS

• Exhibitor tables/booths must be manned at all times and intact until show closes on Saturday, June 13th at 4pm. The DOPP is not responsible for merchandise or display materials.
• Mixed media, fine arts and crafts only. Original work - no hobby crafts or greenware. Examples: painting in all media, print making, photography, digital art, basketry, weaving, textiles, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, wood working, scrimshaw, metal and glass making.
• This is a no refund show including but not limited to weather, unforeseen circumstances, or personal.
• Participants are selected by 4-6 jurors. Images are viewed on a computer monitor with a scale of yes, no or maybe.
• Each Exhibitor must furnish their own chairs, tables, tent. If you wish to rent chairs and tables, please note that on the application. An additional fee will be applied.
• DOPP does not charge commission fees. Artists must submit Kansas State Sales Tax directly to the State. Forms will be distributed at the DOP Art Fair.
• All exhibits to be shown at the owner's risk. Exhibitors are responsible for their own displays. DOPP reserves the right to refuse any entry inconsistent with submitted plans.
• Booth spaces are assigned by the DOPP staff and are not interchangeable and may not be transferred or traded.
• Artists may not occupy space outside their assigned booth space.
