Hourly tours of the A-listed historic Out of the Blue Drill Hall - part of Doors Open Days 2026
We're delighted to be once again taking part in the Edinburgh Doors Open Day.
Enjoy a free guided tour of the building, learning all about it's history and architecture. Learn how the Drill Hall was built in 1901 for the Royal Scots Regiment, designed by the renowned architect Sir Rowand Anderson, (who also designed the National Portrait Gallery on Queen Street and the McEwan Hall at Edinburgh University).
