Door County Kayak Gathering

DCKG is a new sea kayak event on the Door Peninsula that is geared towards advancing paddlers who are looking for exposure to the venues available on the great lakes. We also will offer beginning kayakers the ability to learn on protected waters on Lake Michigan as well as on the inland lakes on the
peninsula.
Our main goal is to make kayaking more fun and help you improve your skills. We’ll cover a comprehensive range of basic skills, including paddling techniques, rescues, strokes, and maneuvers. Additionally, we can delve into leadership skills, risk management, group management, weather, navigation, and more.
Our experienced instructors are passionate about kayaking and dedicated to teaching you. The groups are intentionally small with generous instructor/participant ratios designed to increase your progression.
