Formed in 1995, Shape of Despair stand among the true pioneers of funeral doom metal. Their music is defined by glacial tempos, towering riffs, and a haunting interplay of deep growls and forlorn, ethereal female vocals, drawing the listener into vast, ill-lit twilight atmospheres. They carry a monumental sound that is both endlessly massive and painfully fragile, a crushing wave of grief to wash upon an entranced soul, extending to the innermost reaches of the self. Ennui
Formed in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2012 by David Unsaved and Sergi Shengelia Ennui has carved a deep niche in the global atmospheric funeral doom metal scene with 4 full length releases showcasing their crushingly heavy, melancholic sound and unfiltered emotion. Ennui will be presenting their highly anticipated upcoming album in an unforgettable live appearance that promises to capture the full breadth of their musicianship and emotional depth. Expect a slow-burn, haunting performance to take you on a trip into the profound and the existential.
Eyeless in Gaza
Eyeless in Gaza is an Armenian funeral / atmospheric doom project with occasional elements of black and post-metal, rooted in a gloomy, funereal, and tragic atmosphere. The project released its debut album Act I: The Protagonist in 2020, followed by the EP Concrescence in 2024, moving towards more bleak, ethereal, and psychedelic realms. Eyeless in Gaza will perform live for the first time, presenting the project on stage through long, contemplative riffs and a slow, immersive atmosphere of weight and introspection.
Eternally Scarred
Eternally Scarred is a metal outfit from Yerevan, Armenia, founded by Artak Karapetyan in 2017 as a one-man project. Drawing inspiration from the European melodic death metal, doom, and gothic metal scenes of the 1990s and 2000s, the project has released two studio albums: ...Of Wisdom (2017) and Echoes From Beneath (2022). The band's music blends a wide range of elements and textures into a distinctive sound, jokingly described by its members as "doom melodeath."
