If you enjoy military history, this fundraising seminar will be an opportunity for you! Join us for a delicious Spaghetti Dinner, including salad, spaghetti, garlic bread and dessert for only $15. After dinner you will enjoy history about the Doolittle Raiders, by local historian Bruce Cotner. He will share our country's military response to the attack on Pearl Harbor, with many facts about what role the Midlands played in this monumental event.
The event will include a display of military memorabilia, with special guests who can share first-hand knowledge of their experiences during WWII. It will be an evening to remember!
This event is a fundraiser for the VFW National Home (vfwnationalhome.org). Their mission is to assist military, veterans and their families with children, by providing services and resources to achieve their personal and family goals, to move forware in a positive, safe and healthy environment. Overall, the VFW National Home has been credited with saving many lives, while creating a brighter future for familied of those who served.
