Important information can be difficult to find when your family needs it most. Donuts & Documents: Build Your Emergency Binder is a small, hands-on workshop designed to help seniors, adults with disabilities, family members, and caregivers organize important information in one place.
Enjoy refreshments, connect with others, and leave with the foundation of your own Emergency Binder—a practical resource you can continue building at home.
What You'll Do
During this interactive workshop, you will be guided through the process of organizing information that may be helpful during an emergency or transition in care, including:
- Emergency contacts
- Family and caregiver information
- Physicians and healthcare providers
- Medic*tion information and reminders
- Allergies and important health information
- Insurance information
- Important documents and where they are located
- Personal preferences and important instructions
- Information your family may need during an unexpected hospitalization or discharge
