About this Event
"Calm Strength: Donation Based Yoga Flow to Connect with Your Self Energy" is a special donation-based yoga event designed to guide you through a mindful journey of inner balance and grounding. This 90-minute experience combines movement, mindfulness, and community to nurture your spirit, while supporting a wonderful cause. All proceeds go to Exhale to Inhale, a nonprofit that empowers survivors of trauma through the healing practices of trauma-informed yoga while equipping communities with tools to support them.
Facilitated by a trauma therapist, you'll explore mindful movement and breathwork while releasing stored tension and cultivating a deeper connection to your authentic self. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, this event invites you to restore your inner harmony and embrace your true strength with compassion and care.
Event Details:
- 45-Minute Grounding Vinyasa Flow: Move through a mindful and grounding sequence designed to help you reconnect with your body and breath, suitable for all levels.
- 15-Minute Meditation: Deepen your practice with guided meditation to cultivate inner stillness and presence.
- 15-Minute Journaling Session: Reflect on your experience and explore your thoughts through journaling prompts provided during the session.
- 15-Minute Community Dialogue: Share insights, connect with others, and find inspiration in a supportive and inclusive space.
Why This Matters:
In 2024, I became a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and joined the Exhale to Inhale Young Professionals Network and Held Space Collective to deepen my commitment to creating meaningful change. As I prepare to run the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon, I am raising funds to support Exhale to Inhale’s mission of making trauma-informed yoga accessible to all survivors.
This event is not just about yoga—it's about using our collective energy and resources to support a world where every survivor has access to healing.
How to Participate:
- This class is donation-based, with all proceeds going directly to Exhale to Inhale.
