The Stockton Ports are hosting a very special evening honoring the life and legacy of Don King, beloved owner of Fat City Brew & BBQ a Miracle Mile staple for years.
Don passed away on October 30th after a courageous battle with cancer, but his impact on Stockton, its small business community, and everyone lucky enough to know him continues to live on. His love for great BBQ, good conversation, and bringing people together made him truly unforgettable.
Join the Stockton Ports on Saturday, July 10th, 2026 at 7:05 PM for Don King Legacy Night at the ballpark. This heartfelt evening will celebrate Don’s legacy through community, baseball, and the spirit he brought to our city every single day.
The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a special Stockton Ports BBQ apron giveaway in Don’s honor.
Most importantly, $5 from every ticket purchased through the special event link will go directly to Don’s family and to Good Life BBQ, the new name carrying on the tradition of his beloved restaurant.
