With a mixed repertoire that ranges from Colombian cumbia to Cuban timba, Calle Luna is a true representation of the musical diversity that unites Latinos in Australia.Formed by a talented group of musicians, including Cristian Saavedra, Clarens Sanchez, Josh Bennier, Vashti Sivell, Carlitos Way and Elizabeth Obando, who hail from Colombia and bring an authentic touch to the cumbia rhythms, and Carlitos who adds his sonero style to the Cuban timba, Calle Luna has quickly become one of the most sought-after bands in the Melbourne music scene.
