This series is a collaboration of Golden Age Tango Academy x Mizuho Sato Flamenco
This special event brings together an extraordinary lineup spanning generations of flamenco excellence:
Cante: Roberto Zamora – Beloved Bay Area flamenco singer and tradition bearer whose artistry has inspired generations of performers and audiences
Guitarra: Jesse Torre – Acclaimed flamenco guitarist recognized as one of the most exciting talents of his generation
Baile: Melissa Cruz – Dynamic flamenco dancer known for her expressive artistry, commanding stage presence, and multifaceted percussion skills
Artistic Dirrection & Baile: Mizuho Sato – Internationally recognized flamenco dancer, choreographer, and artistic director, celebrated for her powerful blend of traditional and original

Experience an afternoon of authentic flamenco featuring cante, toque, baile, and palmas in one of San Francisco’s most iconic cultural venues. Guests are invited to participate in a hands-on palmas workshop before the performance, offering a unique opportunity to learn the rhythmic foundation of flamenco directly from experienced artists.
Complimentary tapas and wine will be available before the show on a donation basis, creating a welcoming atmosphere for artists and audience members to gather in community.
