This event is also the launch of a new women’s empowerment community we are working to create called “Girl Dinner.” This space is designed for women to gather in vulnerability and truth—to have the hard conversations, share our stories, and connect through our shared humanness.
Over good food and deep discussion, we hope to foster real, lasting relationships that go far beyond surface-level networking.
The idea for this dinner and the “Girl Dinner” community was born from my own journey as a survivor of domestic violence.
I didn’t know where to turn, had no idea there were resources like LACASA available, and lacked a supportive community to walk with me through the pain. Through community, I’ve come to see myself not as a victim, but as a voice—for the women still in it, for those quietly surviving, and for the friends and families who want to support them but don’t always know how.
This event is about reminding women that they are not alone and that they are worthy of love, no matter where they are in their journey. I believe the best way we can reach and support survivors is by standing beside them, without judgment, and loving them through their trials with patience, understanding, and hope.
**No profits will be made from this event. Proceeds will all be donated to LACASA**
