As part of the weekend long celebration of Stephen King's Birthday we have the privledge of spending a day showing "Dollar Baby" short films.
So what is a "Dollar Baby"? It is a nickname given to independent short films based on the short stories of Stephen King. Once upon a time Mr. King had a set list of his short works that he would sell the rights to for $1. This was done to give young filmmakers a chance to get their feet wet and bring King works to life that may have otherwise been passed over.
Now, thanks to our wonderful co-host/filmmaker Max Blaska we'll get to show ten of these amazing works throughout the day.
Admission is to this event is free. Stay tuned for a complete schedule. Stay spooky!
