Featuring Grammy winning recording and mixing engineer Jenny Ortiz, this event will offer a deep dive into the world of Dolby Atmos and immersive audio. Jenny, whose impressive career includes work with major labels and artists such as TDE, Roc Nation, and Spotify Studios LA, will deconstruct one of her acclaimed mixes. Attendees will gain invaluable insights into the techniques and creative processes behind spatial audio mixing.

Jennifer Ortiz (Rapsody, UMI, K.A.A.N., No Name) is an accomplished recording and mixing engineer based in Los Angeles. She graduated from CSUDH with a B.A. in Audio Engineering and started her career at Studio 770, working on Classical and Jazz Recordings. With over 8 years of experience, Jennifer's work with Major Labels and Independent Artists has made her a sought-after audio engineer in the Los Angeles music scene. She has worked in multiple recording studios around the world, engineering and mixing music for major labels like TDE, Roc Nation, Warner Music, Sony, and Spotify's Studios LA.

Her career highlights include working with TDE for Isaiah Rashad's "Wat U Sed", Recording Engineer for Producer Dem Jointz in K-Pop Camps, and Lead Engineer at Spotify Studios L.A. Her most recent work is with hip-hop artist Rapsody on her 2025 Grammy winning album "Please Don't Cry". Jenny is certified in mixing Spatial Audio through Derek Ali's EngineEars Dolby Atmos Certification Course. She has mixed immersive projects for artists like Ambre, UMI, Dixson, and Pokemon. And most recently, Rapsody's most anticipated album, "Please Don't Cry."
