Doheny State Beach Cleanup with Veterans!

Join your local Veterans and community for a community beach cleanup in Doheny Beach, California! This free event is to help preserve our beautiful beaches and its surrounding environments. Volunteers will be tackling plastic debris and litter that accumulates in the sand before it get swept back up into the ocean.

• Arrive by 10-15 minutes prior for prompt check-in and to secure parking.
• See an RFV representative to check-in to be handed your bag and gloves.
• Wear dirt-friendly attire; long pants and sleeves advised.
• Consider hats and sunscreen for protection.
• Only closed-toe, sturdy footwear is permitted. No sandals or flats allowed.
• Bring a reusable water bottle to minimize plastic use.
• All necessary tools and supplies will be provided.

After each event, we make it a priority to gather with fellow Veterans and volunteers at a nearby local eatery for some food, drinks, and great company.

We value the dedication of our military and volunteers, which is why we offer volunteer hours and Letters of Appreciation (for our Active Duty) for every event.

To request your LOA or volunteer hours, simply indicate your preference when getting your ticket.

ReconSurco is Southern California's premiere tactical training center and Shoothouse, our program specializes in a multitude of tactical and technical training that prepares students for whatever scenario may come their way. Students of all levels are welcome!

Info: We will make a school circle around our Eco Warrior who is kicking off the event. During this quick brief, we will go over the route, safety instructions, and any special announcements. Please find an RFV Representative to check-in.

Info: We will kick off the cleanup by following the designated route and servicing the area for trash, recyclables, and debris. (Around 1-3 miles of sand)

Info: After the trash has been collected, our Team and partners will close out the event by educating the volunteers on conservation, sustainability, environmentalism, and how your impact makes a difference.
