Doggy Day returns to Deer District for this 5th annual event!Doggy Day at Deer District is the spot for Wisconsin dog lovers to gather with their pups, enjoy delicious food & beverages, and shop local businesses... all while supporting local pups in need at the wonderful Deer District! This fun-filled event is a fundraiser presented by, and benefiting, Winston's Wishes and directly helps our local pups in need. 💜
We continue to honor Winston himself, the pup who is the entire reason our rescue organization exists. Mr. Winston may have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but his impact will live on for many, many years through the pups we continue to help. We love you and miss you more than anything Winny boy 🌈 💜🐾
Winston’s Wishes is an all-volunteer operated, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on helping dogs from MADACC who may not be doing well in the shelter environment, senior pups or dogs who may need a little extra care. We exclusively transfer dogs from MADACC and support those pups however necessary until they find their happily ever afters 🥰
This event is free for the public to attend and will include around 80 local vendors, local food trucks, beverages, entertainment, prizes & giveaways, activities for all furry friends and their humans, including a Lure Course, and much more! We would be beyond grateful to have your support as we continue to make Doggy Day at Deer District even more fantastic! We can’t wait to see you all there! 🐾
⭐️ IMPORTANT NOTES AND INFORMATION ⭐️
*Doggy Day remains free and open to the public along with their well-socialized, leashed dogs. (Please refrain from retractable leashes as well as aversive collars such as prong & shock. Thank you 💕)
*Based on feedback we received from the first four years, we will continue to have a Dj format for entertainment that is friendlier to your pet's ears 💜
*Doggy Day at Deer District is Winston's Wishes' annual fundraiser and entirely benefits our organization, it is planned and organized by Winston's Wishes, and has limited vendor spots. Multiple categories are also capped to avoid saturation of similar items. Doggy Day is not an adoption fair (though an adoptable or two of ours may make an appearance 😉) The only rescue/shelter organizations on-site will be Winston's Wishes along with MADACC (Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission), since we are an exclusive transfer partner of theirs 🐾
*There will be live video recording and photos being taken at the event. Participating in the event and being on the grounds means you could be in any future promotional photos/videos.
*We are looking to add larger sponsorship opportunities to assist with keeping this event as successful as it has been while it continues to grow! We will also be announcing the other vendor/sponsorship opportunities early 2026.
