Doggy Day returns to Deer District for year four! What has quickly become a favorite event for wonderful dog lovers, Doggy Day at Deer District, Sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka & Yutka Fence, is a fundraiser presented by, and benefiting, Winston's Wishes that directly helps our local pups in need. 馃挏 This year is beyond special as we honor Winston himself, the pup who is the entire reason our rescue organization exists, who has recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We love you and miss you more than anything Winny boy 馃寛 馃挏馃惥
Winston鈥檚 Wishes is an all-volunteer operated, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on helping dogs from MADACC who may not do well in the shelter environment, senior pups or dogs who may need a little extra care. We exclusively transfer dogs from MADACC and support those pups however necessary until they find their happily ever afters 馃グ
This event is free for the public to attend and will include around 60 - 80 local vendors, local food trucks, beverages, entertainment from Dj Gee-A, prizes & giveaways, activities for all furry friends and their humans, a Doggy Activity Area, and much more! This exciting day will be emceed by local radio personalities, including Alley & DZ. We would be beyond grateful to have your support as we continue to make Doggy Day at Deer District even more fantastic! Can't wait to see you all there! 馃惥
猸愶笍 IMPORTANT NOTES AND INFORMATION 猸愶笍
*Doggy Day remains free and open to the public along with their well-socialized, leashed dogs. (Please refrain from retractable leashes as well as aversive collars such as prong & shock. Thank you 馃挄)
*Based on feedback we received from the first three years, we will remain with a Dj format for entertainment that is friendlier to your pet's ears 馃挏
*Doggy Day is Winston's Wishes' annual fundraiser entirely benefiting our organization, planned and organized by Winston's Wishes, with limited vendor spots. Multiple categories are capped to avoid saturation of similar items. Doggy Day is not an adoption fair (though an adoptable or two of ours may make an appearance 馃槈) The only rescue/shelter organizations on-site will be Winston's Wishes along with MADACC (Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission, since we exclusively help MADACC pups as a proud transfer partner 馃惥
*There will be live video recording and photos being taken at the event. Participating and being on the grounds means you could be in any future promotional photos/videos.
