Calling all dog lovers! The City of Eaton Parks & Recreation will host its first-ever Doggie Dip on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at Main Street Aquatic Center — the perfect way to wrap up pool season with a “paw-fect” splash.This special new event invites well-behaved, vaccinated dogs of all breeds to enjoy open swim at the pool for $5 per dog. Humans may enter the pool area for free but are not permitted to swim during the event. Owners may assist their pets as needed.
Important event notes:
All breeds welcome
Dogs must be current on vaccinations
No aggressive dogs
No dogs in heat
No dogs under 4 months old
Owners should bring their dog’s favorite floating toy
Lifeguards will be on duty, as required, but are not specifically trained in animal rescue.
