DogFest 2025

Join us for our annual DogFest event presented by Best Friends Fur Ever! Come have a fun day with your canine pal and show your support for the shelter animals at the Baltimore Humane Society in Reisterstown, Maryland on Saturday, September 13 from 11am to 4pm with a rain date of Sunday, September 21.

It’s a tail-wagging good time for the whole family, including four-legged canine friends! Your ticket supports our shelter animals in need on our spacious property.

Throughout the day, you can expect a full day of activities.

Your pup can dive into the fun with activities like:

• 20-Yard Dash
• Tetherball
• Dog Bowling
• Paw Painting

Fur-bulous contests like Best Costume, Catch the Treat, Best Pet Trick, and Pet & Owner Look-a-Like. There’s something for every dog and owner to enjoy and participate in!

Let your dogs splash around in our Dippin’ Dogs pool area, and showcase their skills in our agility and lure courses!

Don’t miss exciting demonstrations by:

• Chrissy Joy and her Bone-A-Fied Talent Group! Her and the dogs previously performed on America’s Got Talent. Don’t miss this high-energy, trick-filled canine show!
• The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services K-9 Unit
• Dog Owners Training Club

Got kiddos in tow? They’ll have a blast at the Kids Kennel with pet-themed crafts, face painting, games, and even a bounce house!

Want delicious food? We’ve got you covered with tasty bites from food trucks, enjoy music from a live band, and paws-itively awesome shopping at our vendor marketplace!

Help us fill our van at the event with items from our wish list! You will be supporting the animals at our shelter & those hungry and in need pets in our community.
