It is time to venture into North Raleigh for a taste of suburban writing. The backyard beckons with rockers and chairs in the gazebo and screened-in porch. Benches dot the grounds, flower beds, birdhouses, water features, and a wild area entice butterflies, bees, lizards, and other critters. If you prefer, there is space inside the house with all the amenities. (Note: We share space with a medium sized, friendly husky who loves people — sometimes too enthusiastically.)
Bring a bag lunch! Breakfast snacks will be provided during the morning meet-and-greet, and beverages will be provided all day long.
After lunch we will have an opportunity to listen to other attendees sharing what they have written, and you can share your own work if you wish!
