Dog CPR and First Aid

The class is offered through the Winnegamie Dog Club (WDC) and is led by Leonard (Len) Hoehne (lead instructor) and Danielle Kohlman. It is a four-hour, hands-on course focused on practical skill development rather than lecture-based instruction.

Participants practice:

• Canine CPR using professional manikins
• Pulse checks on demo dogs
• Choking response and rescue breathing
• Building a canine emergency kit
• Proper restraint and safe muzzle use
• Bandaging and splinting techniques
• Safe transport of an injured dog

Each participant receives a copy of Canine Medic Unleashed, a comprehensive 250-page emergency reference guide. The cost is $40 per person. This is payable to WDC prior to the event.

This event is limited to 20 people.
