Dog Cove & Lost Creek Falls Hike
About this Event
Enjoy the early autumn air and beautiful sights during an easy round-trip three-mile hike at Dog Cove. Walk along the creek, pass by huge sandstone boulders, and experience the historic Jimmie Davis Homesite with beautiful, original two-story sandstone chimneys built in the late 19th century.
Following the hike at Dog Cove, we will return to vehicles and caravan four miles to Lost Creek Falls State Natural Area for a ¼ mile hike to gorgeous Lost Creek Falls, and the massive entrance to Lost Creek Cave.
This activity is of easy to moderate difficulty. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and wear sturdy walking or hiking shoes. Bring plenty of water and snacks for the day!
