Dog Adoption Event Volunteering
About this Event
Join My Friends Who Volunteer DMV to participate in Lucky Dog Animal Rescue’s adoption event. Please arrive promptly at 11:15am for volunteer orientation & stay with your assigned dog until 3:15pm.
2 people will be assigned to each dog to hold its leash & care for it throughout the event as potential adopters come visit. Children over the age of 7 welcome, but there needs to be one parent/guardian present per child. Please RSVP (by reserving a spot here on Eventbrite) so the Rescue knows how many handlers we are able to provide! There is ample parking in the Petco lot. If you prefer to Metro, it is a 14 minute walk from the Twinbrook stop on the Red line!
