Join Out of Bounds Sports KC for a night of fun, community, and friendly competition while supporting an important cause.We’re hosting a Dodgeball & Volleyball Night to raise funds for the LGBTQ Foundation of Kansas, and everyone is invited to play. Whether you’re competitive, casual, or just there for the laughs, come out and enjoy a night of games while supporting our community.
Players are asked to donate at least $10 to participate, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the LGBTQ Foundation of Kansas.
We chose this organization in response to the recently passed Kansas Senate Bill 244, which requires Kansas state IDs and birth certificates to list “sex assigned at birth” rather than gender identity. This policy disproportionately harms and marginalizes trans members of our community.
The LGBTQ Foundation of Kansas is actively helping those affected by this law by providing support such as:
Assistance with Kansas ID renewal fees
Help covering living expenses
Support for relocation out of state when necessary
Additional resources for transgender Kansans navigating these challenges
This event is about more than just sports. It’s about showing up for our community and supporting organizations doing the work when it matters most.
