This community event is proudly presented in collaboration with Entité 36 Peterborough and Westdale United Church.
You are invited to a screening of No More Silent Battles, a poignant and eye-opening documentary directed and produced by renowned Geriatric Medicine Specialist, Dr. Jenny Ingram.
About the Film No More Silent Battles shares the experiences of four families as they navigate the complexities of dementia care. The film explores the practical and emotional realities of the disease, the impact of trained home care providers, and the urgent need for policy changes and funding to support care at home.
About the Director Dr. Jenny Ingram (Honorary Doctor of Science, Trent University) has spent her career as a trailblazer in Senior care. From founding the Kawartha Centre to establishing GAIN Geriatric teams, her advocacy has changed the landscape of senior health in Ontario. This film is her latest endeavor to ensure the voices of families dealing with dementia are heard.
