Directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Nik Heftman, The Negro Artist explores the life and artistry of Caleb Rainey—a spoken word poet whose work evokes themes of race, identity, and systemic inequality. Rainey’s poetry is a call to confront uncomfortable truths while inviting audiences to celebrate art that inspires justice and understanding.
