This documentary explores the lasting structures and consequences of colonial domination by placing historical analysis in direct conversation with contemporary images of struggle and resistance. Drawing on the words of influential anti colonial thinkers and pairing them with modern footage from across the African continent, it invites viewers to confront how systems of power, exploitation, and inequality continue to shape the present. Rather than offering simple explanations or resolutions, the film challenges audiences to reflect on the moral, political, and human costs of violence embedded in global history and its ongoing legacy.
