Safely dispose of old documents and protect yourself from identity theft at the Village’s free document shredding event, hosted in partnership with Groot Industries.Bring your confidential paperwork and have it securely shredded on-site.
The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., or until the shredding trucks are full, whichever comes first.
Event Guidelines
• Must be a Village of Algonquin resident
• Limit of 8 standard banker boxes per vehicle
• Accepted materials include standard office paper and file folders
Please remove binders, binder clips, and other hard materials that could damage the shredding equipment.
This is a great opportunity to clear out old paperwork and securely protect your personal information.
