Doc Lab

The Summer NAREA Conference in Vermont, had 3 inspiring days with keynote speakers, Paola Strozzi and Consuelo Damasi – a pedagogista and an atelierista from Reggio Emilia.
The presentation, was entitled ‘In Celebration of the Voices of Democracy: Documenting as an Act of Meaning-Making, Community-Building, and Joy’.
This brought the opportunity to reaffirm the deep value of documentation and education as fundamental tools for building more democratic communities.
With this in mind, we are excited to relaunch our In person Doc Lab opportunities!
Together we will examine traces of documentation, look at the work of the children and collaborate on ways to 'relaunch' the idea back to the children, share ideas on what learning is happening and see documentation as a living work in progress, not a final product!
Join us November 19, 2026 at Westwood Early Childhood Care in St Louis Park! More information and to register is here! https://www.mnreggio.org/event-6771787
