Doble Llave: Mastering Matching Funds

Matching funds can be one of the most effective ways to build early momentum and inspire donor action during El Paso Giving Day. This workshop will cover how to identify strong match prospects, shape a compelling ask, and position matching gifts as a motivating tool in your campaign. We will also review the procedures for 2026 matching funds so participating nonprofits understand the process, requirements, and how to make the most of this opportunity. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to promote a match before and during Giving Day to encourage donor participation.
The workshop will be held in person at the Blue Flame Building at the Center for Civic Empowerment, located at 304 Texas Ave, floor 17. Parking will be validated for the covered garage across the street from the Wells Fargo Building on the corner of Mills and Kansas.
