Do you remember The Sussex Club? Down a mysterious basement in Regency Square where you had to ring a bell and wait to be admitted?This humble bar with an area for performers and the obligatory pool table was pivotal in the lives of many lesbians in Brighton and Hove and further afield. We're opening this collection event to the lesbians of Sussex, and we want to invite you to come along and share stories, relive dramas and meet old chums.
We’re nudging your memories for an extended prequel to the September History Club session with surprise guests, so your contribution at this gathering is crucial!
You’ll also get a chance to look at some photos and sign up for an exciting social group.
