Bumps and Buggies walk with NHS midwife

Our walks are open to new parents and parents-to-be. They are social walks on buggy-friendly routes, led by one of our midwives.
About this Event

Location: Meet by the top gate at the entrance to the children’s play park (near the path).

Open to all families who are under the care of University Hospitals Sussex maternity services or have recently birthed with us (within the last 6 months).

Walks run around the beautiful Hove Park, we will go at whatever pace is preferred and meander around the paths and under the blossom and elm trees. Join us for a coffee and cake afterwards! Getting out and moving during pregnancy and postpartum is so good for your body and baby.

A chance to meet other parents or talk about your pregnancy and birth with a NHS midwife.

Older children are welcome but remain under the responsibility of parent or guardian at all times.

There is free parking for up to 3 hours on the roads surrounding the park on Goldstone Crescent and Park View Road. The 5, 5A, 5B and 47 buses run every few minutes and stop close to the park and cafe.
