About the Programme
Due to our rapidly ageing population, by 2030, 1 in 4 people in Singapore will be 65 years and above, with an estimated 80,000 people who will be living with dementia. While dementia is an individual condition, its impact is much wider reaching, often affecting loved ones as well as society as a whole.
This talk will help you understand the effects of dementia and explore how to detect it early. At the end of the session, there will be an optional short screening for dementia, which is only available to those aged 60 and above. Participants of the screening will need to bring their NRIC, and share their age and education level during the process.
This programme is organised in collaboration with O’Joy Limited.
