About this Event
Out of respect for those on the waitlist, please remember to update your RSVP in case you sign up but can't make it 😊
🌱Swap Shop🌱: This is a new regular part of the event - Bring your pre-loved items like a book, a mug, or a painting with you and give your items an opportunity to find a new home. They will be laid out on a table during the mid-event break for everyone to see and pick! (No clothing please, but accessories are more than welcome)
🎄 A great place to find some Christmas presents without adding a carbon footprint! 🦶🏼
Our speakers this month are Melanie Brennan and Dr Pablo Rosado who together will:
1. 🌍 Explain how the global Effective Altruism community has mobilized thousands of people to maximise the good they can do in the world, often using the underutilised power of effective donations to tackle global challenges like climate change, factory farming, and AI safety.
2. 📊 Share data-driven insights about how the world's most effective organisations work on global challenges to stand out from the rest, and how you can support them to continue their great work this Christmas (and beyond!).
Join in, have fun, and leave inspired to make this season of giving both impactful and aligned with your values 🎁
