Special Message From: YHS Connects Booster Club
The Yelm High School band is needing some support from the community. Once again the funding for several programs have been cut for this coming school year, including some of those in the music program. As it stands there will be no marching band, no pep band and no concerts throughout the year. This is devastating to so many band students. They have worked so hard to be able to showcase their music, and they want it to be able to share it with the community.
The high school band has created a place of belonging for so many kids. It has become their own little community and we want to be able to encourage that community to grow so the students can flourish. In order to do that we need help to be able to fund the expenses that come with band. Help us keep the music going!
