About this Event

NOTE: THIS IS A HYBRID EVENT

With the growing popularity of Bundism due to Molly Crabapple's book Here Where We Live is Our Country: The Story of the Jewish Bund, and Israel's continued genocide of the Palestinian people, Bund chapters have been popping up all over the world as Jews look to build their own Jewish spaces that are not centered around Zionism.

The DMV Jewish Labor Bund, a chapter of the International Jewish Labor Bund, organizes on the principles of Doikayt (hereness), Yiddishkayt (Jewishness), and Khavershaft (solidarity). We are socialist, Jewish organizers looking to build a political and communal home for Jews that believe our liberation is not tied to a nationalist project, but built in solidarity with other working people.

Join us on August 23rd to see the work we are doing to build this world.

There will be a social afterwards at a nearby location if folks want to get together and shmues a little bit.
