DMICS Presents: Natural Partners

The Del Mar International Composers Symposium's (DMICS) fifth season continues with a diverse night of chamber music duets. Composer/performers Carrie Frey and Tommy Dougherty will share some of their original compositions, along with works for violin and percussion by Salina Fisher and duos for violin and piano by Martin Bresnick and Polina Nazaykinskaya.

DMICS exists to encourage the sharing of new musical ideas between composers, performers, and the community, and to present the best new concert music from around the world in the City of Del Mar. In particular, DMICS is designed to allow composers and performers a space to collaborate intimately on the creation and presentation of new works, while inviting the public to experience that process first-hand.
