DMFD CERT TRAINING PROGRAM
About this Event
CERT CLASSES ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST
This is a 3 DAY COURSE, must attend all three days in order to receive a Certificate of Completion.
Location: Daisy Mountain Fire Station 141 - Training Room
DAY 1 - September 18, 2026 at 6:00 - 10:00 PM
DAY 2 - September 19, 2026 at 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
DAY 3 - September 20, 2026 at 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Daisy Mountain Fire Department CERT PROGRAM
WHAT TO WEAR:
The class is structured as lecture and hands-on. This will involve both indoors and outdoor training and presentations.
· Wear comfortable clothing so that you feel confident in completing course exercises.
· Wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes, no sandals, and no shorts.
· In case of rain in the forecast, please pack a rain jacket.
· We will provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Training, like emergencies and disasters, will proceed rain or shine.
SNACKS/LUNCH:
Please bring a water bottle and snacks if you’d like. You are encouraged to bring your own lunch for both days, as the training room is not close to nearby accommodations and lunch breaks are limited to one hour.
