The Phoenix Children's 12th Annual Childhood Obesity Symposium 2026 presented by the CARE Program at Phoenix Children’s will be held Friday, September 18, 2026 at the Phoenix Children's Mel Cohen Confernece Center.
The symposium offers physicians, researchers, and educators an opportunity to learn from experts in pediatric obesity and obesity-associated conditions. The goal is to bring stakeholders together and encourage collaboration, generate new ideas, and enhance their knowledge base to improve the health and lives of children and families affected by obesity and at high risk of developing chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and fatty liver to name a few.
The presentations will focus on the following topics:
- Pharmacotherapy
- Public health and how policies influence pediatric obesity
- Eating disorders and disordered eating in patients with obesity
- Case presentations by registered dietitians and providers
