DLP Training - 16th April, 1.30pm - 5.00pm. Letterkenny

The Always Children First Designated Liaison Person (DLP) Training is a blended learning training programme that is part of the National Child Safeguarding Programme suite of Children First training provided nationally by CCCs.

This training is targeted to DLP and Deputy DLP as it builds on the information provided in Always Children First: Foundation Training, which participants will have previously attended.

• The DLP Training is delivered in 2 parts:
• Part 1 is a 1.5hrs self-directed eLearning module (see link below)

• Part 2 is 3.5hrs face to face training.

Parts 1 & 2 must be completed within 2 weeks of each other.

This is part of a suite of training over a 5 year cycle and prior to this training participants must have completed:

• Always Children First Foundation Level Programme in person training.
• Children First e-learning, within 12 months. (see link below)
• Mandated Person e-Learning, within 12 months. (see link below)

All participants must complete Part 1, the DLP e-learning within 2 weeks of attending the DLP in person training.
