English Version BelowHey, le weekend du 15 & 16 Novembre, nous organisons un stage exceptionnel de djembe avec Sekouba Oulare au Centre sportif Tabora à Namur
Sekouba Oulare est né en 1988, à Faranah dans le Sankaran, en Haute Guinée, pays du peuple Malinké, dans une longue lignée d’artistes. Son arrière-grand-père, Amara Oulare, était Konkoba, père de Yousouf Oulare, qui était danseur et qui donna naissance à son père à lui, Fadouba Oulare, premier batteur international de Guinée et d’Afrique, djembefola mondialement reconnu pour son travail.
Dès son plus jeune âge, il l’a accompagné dans toutes les fêtes traditionnelles, et était le sangbanfola exclusif de Fadouba et ce jusqu'à son dernier jour parmi nous.
Ensuite Sekouba et ses frères ont pris la relève et ont continué à recevoir des étudiants à Faranah pour partager leur culture précisément et généreusement.
Il vit actuellement à Florianopolis, au Brésil, où il donne des cours, des séminaires et voyage pour continuer à répandre dans le monde l’héritage que son père lui a laissé.

Pour découvrir en s’amusant - Niveau dédié aux débutants
Le travail se concentrera sur l’attitude corporelle avec l’instrument, l’acquisition des sons de base et l’approche des rythmes simples avec, selon l’énergie du groupe, des petits breaks et phrasés techniques
Djembe 2
Pour améliorer sa pratique - Niveau dédié aux joueurs qui ont déjà bien acquis les sons.
Le travail vous mènera vers des rythmes plus complexes, avec breaks et solos techniques, autant que le groupe pourra en recevoir.
Djembe 3
J'en veux plus, et j'y mets toute mon énergie !
Pour les joueurs plus expérimentés qui souhaitent approfondir leurs échanges avec Sekouba et profiter de l'intensité de l'apprentissage.

Hey, the weekend of November 15th & 16th, we are organizing an exceptional djembe workshop with Sekouba Oulare at Centre sportif Tabora à Namur.
Sekouba was born in 1988, in Faranah, Sankaran, in Upper Guinea, the country of the Malinké people, and comes from a long line of artists.
His great-grandfather, Amara Oulare, was a Konkoba and the father of Yousouf Oulare, who was a dancer and who fathered Fadouba Oulare, the first international drummer in Guinea and Africa, a djembefola recognized worldwide for his work.
From a very young age, Sekouba accompanied his father in all traditional festivals, and was his exclusive sangbanfola until Fadouba's final days.
Then Sekouba and his brothers took over and continued to welcome students in Faranah to share their culture and tradition with great care and generosity. Sekouba currently lives in Florianopolis, Brazil, where he gives classes and seminars and travels around the globe continuing to spread his father’s legacy.

Djembe 1
To discover while having fun -Level dedicated to beginners
The work will focus on the physical attitude with the instrument, the acquisition of basic sounds and the approach of simple rhythms with, according to the energy of the group, small breaks and technical phrases.
Djembe 2
To enhance your practice, this level is designed for players who have already acquired the sounds.
The work will lead you to more complex rhythms, with breaks and technical solos, as much as the group can accommodate.
Djembe 3
I want more, and i’m putting all my energy into it !!
For more experienced players who want to go further in their exchange with Sekouba and enjoy the intensity of the learning process
