Power of Drums is a predominantly adult, community, African drumming group that meets on the second Saturday of the month, at Hill Street Baptist Church, Swadlincote, Derbyshire DE11 8HL.Note: Children under 16 can attend but are to be accompanied by an adult. (Prior arrangement only).
We are a friendly and fun group that is lead by Andy Harris, who is a knowledgeable and experienced fun facilitator, who also runs a drumming group in Nottingham.
However, Andy is sick at the moment so Kaye Gillanders and Milla Hanna will be doing alternate sessions. Milla will kick off the session in the New Year 2026. Woohoo!!! Can't wait 😁😁😁🥳🥳
You do not need any musical experience to join the group, just a willingness to enjoy yourself. We have drums you can loan. Ear protection is advised as it gets pretty loud!!
The sessions are £6.00 each and include drum loan and refreshments.

The hall has access for disabled persons.
