Do you have an old family heirloom you have been wanting to mend? Have you thrifted something recently that you want to upcycle and reuse? Think: a repainted wooden frame, a pottery mug turned into a planter, old tin tubes cut into ornamental shapes, silverware made into a wind chime. If this sounds like you, please join us at our DIY Upcycling Workshop! Participants bring their own items they wish to upcycle. The workshop will have various mending stations, books for inspiration, and supplies to help reach your creative goals! Please note: there will be no sewing machines to use, and no power tools to use.
Ages 13+.
Bilingual activity. Mending, cleaning, and craft materials provided. Items themselves are to be brought in by the participants.

Avez-vous un vieil objet de famille que vous souhaitez réparer? Avez-vous récemment acheté un objet d'occasion que vous souhaitez recycler et réutiliser? Pensez par exemple à un cadre en bois repeint, une tasse en poterie transformée en pot de fleurs, de vieux tubes en étain découpés en formes décoratives, de l'argenterie transformée en carillon éolien. Si cela vous ressemble, rejoignez-nous à notre atelier de surcyclage DIY!
Les participants apportent les objets qu'ils souhaitent recycler. L'atelier mettra à votre disposition différents postes de réparation, des livres pour vous inspirer et des fournitures pour vous aider à atteindre vos objectifs créatifs!
À partir de 13 ans.
Activité bilingue. Matériel de réparation, de nettoyage et d'artisanat fourni. Les objets doivent être apportés par les participants.
