Hi, I’m Luc Abbott (they/them), a marketing communications consultant working with LGBTQIA+ creatives and allies in the Valley. Since launching Bloom Local in 2021, we’ve been connecting folks through our vibrant digital platform and partner network. As a queer & trans entrepreneur serving the creative sector, I let my passion for creative expression and values of community care and access guide my approach to fostering collaboration and growth within our local creative economies.
I’m excited to lead a "Marketing Basics" workshop, where we’ll explore creative, innovative, and practical strategies to boost your visibility. We’ll also dive into accessibility guidelines to ensure your outreach is inclusive and impactful. Join me for an enriching experience tailored to help you shine!"
Uplifting Queer Voices is a community program made possible by the Live Music Society’s Music In Action Grant. Dedicated to empowering and amplifying voices of local LGBTQIA+ musicians and industry professionals with an emphasis on QTBIPOC led affinity spaces. The program’s mission is to provide robust support to participants through professional development initiatives, workshops, and performance opportunities. Our goals include increasing accessibility, expanding artist representation, and diversifying our audiences, while creating a beloved third place (a community meeting space where we exchange ideas, have a good time, and build relationships).
