About this Event
Join Dominic Ginzton, 8th grader at Golden Bridges School for a fun free workshop on combining electronics and art. He will use his knack for tinkering to support your child in a workshop. We will use electronic gadgets and a plethora of found SCRAP materials to create some unpredictable art. Get ready to use your problem solving skills and creative imagination!
This free workshop is best suited for participants aged 9 years old and up. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All materials will be provided. Participants will also be able to use materials they find in the SCRAP Depot to add to their Robots.
Dominic will be joined by SCRAP teaching artist, Sebastian Petersen to make your creations come to life! Sebastian Petersen is an Illustration graduate of the California College of the Arts, and a practicing fine artist. He has spent several years working in government programs and private sector groups teaching art to a wide range of students and community members. He lives on the coast with his partner, and his puppy, working on illustrations, and beach combing for art projects.
