About this Event

Create a magical ceramic luminary that brings warmth and personality to your space! In this beginner friendly pottery workshop, you'll build your own wall hanging luminary and customize it with cutouts, textures, and decorative details that let the light shine through.

For spooky season, choose our special bat shaped luminary design and create a fun Halloween inspired piece that's perfect for cozy autumn nights, or add your own personal style to make a luminary you'll enjoy all year long.

You'll learn hand building techniques to shape, decorate, and finish your ceramic piece. No pottery experience is needed, and we'll guide you through every step. All clay, tools, and materials are included.

After the workshop, we'll carefully dry, fire, and glaze your pottery. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 4 weeks.

At the end of class, you can choose your favorite glaze color and we'll glaze your luminary for you. Or, if you'd like another creative night out, you can leave it unglazed and come back later to paint it by hand during Open Studio for a truly one of a kind finish.
