About this Event

Event Information

Community and DIY fundraising continues to play a vital role in the charity sector, but many of us can feel the landscape is shifting. In our Spring session, we’ll explore the current state of play in 2026, including key trends, and explore the approaches that are proving successful, or what's falling short.

Through real-world case studies, our guest speakers will share honest insight from both sides of the coin, and take us through examples of recent campaigns and approaches that have driven strong engagement and/or income, and how they did it. Expect practical detail, including real-life examples, lessons learned, and actionable do’s and don’ts that attendees can apply to their own fundraising programmes.

The session will include opportunities for audience interaction, breakout discussions, and a Q&A with the panel to help turn insight into action.

Session Highlights

  • A welcome from the Committee Chair and Vice Chair.
  • A session from special guests from RNLI, discussing their award-winning community fundraising initiative at the Kirkcudbright Lifeboat Station.
