DIY Air Plant Holder (Clay Workshop) @ Knots and Found

Join us in this 2 hour workshop and will learn how to hand build your own air plant holders using air dry clay! Instructor Antonia will teach you the skills to create two pieces: one magnet air plant holder and one free standing holder. Starting with brainstorming then going through techniques you can use to build. This workshop is suitable for ALL ages- no previous skills are requiered!

• Each ticket includes supplies: 2.2 lbs. of air dry clay and tools to sculpt with, one airplant self adhesive magnets and boxes to transport your work home.

Participants will leave with their own handcrafted air dry pottery piece. All materials will be provided by workshop host.

About your Instructor... Antonia Lara Sanchez is a trained industrial designer with a BFA from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso, Chile. For the past six years, Antonia worked as a graphic design and photography teacher in schools throughout Providence, RI and Oakland, CA. She believes in the transformative and healing power of the arts and finds joy in sharing her knowledge with others . Antonia currently works as a full time artist, teaching macrame and ceramics classes throughout the Bay Area.
