Together, we gonna build a DIY audio / visual synthesizer 'RETINAL GAMUT BENDER' and listen to the sound of pixels being ripped apart. The Retinal Gamut Bender allows you to produce an RGB analog video signal, and then use it's three internal sound generators to glitch, corrupt and synchronise the video signal to its blasts of noize & deep drones.
The workshop is suitable for beginners, no previous experience required. You will learn how to solder, how the circuit works and how your eyeballs work.
The workshop fee is 70€ and each will take home their own experimental synthesizer and a riso printed zine 'I Want To Oscillate' with guidance on continuing your synth DIY journey. Workshop duration: ~3 hours and it takes place in the greenhouse in Aparaaditehas' inner courtyard.
