Lenormand cards are an alternative system of cartomancy to Tarot cards. Initially developing in France inspired by the renowned fortune teller, Marie Lenormand, they have gained popularity across Europe over the last 200 years. Unlike Tarot reading, Lenormand cards concern themselves with everyday matters and offering practical advice. Each individual card has a simple, neutral meaning, and it is the combination of cards as they are laid out in a line or grid that provides a complex and nuanced reading.
In a Lenormand reading, Kal first consults with you about the specific subject you would like to explore, as Lenormand works best with a clear focus point. He will then lay out multiple lines or grids of cards depending on the nature of your subject, and interpret the card combinations to help you find clarity.

The I Ching (易经), or Book of Changes, is a 3000 year old Chinese fortune telling tome. Many people from across Chinese history have consulted its pages to help them make decisions, from emperors to farmers, and the Book has a widespread reputation for its uncanny ability to tell you exactly what you need to hear. Kal has studied and practiced I Ching divination for over 8 years, as well as studying modern Mandarin and Classical Chinese language and culture at university, and is very enthusiastic to spread the word about the I Ching and encourage more people to discover it.
In I Ching readings, Kal uses the traditional coin-toss method to generate a “hexagram” symbol in response to your question or circumstances. He then turns to the Book’s entry on that hexagram, and interprets the hexagram and any “changing lines” with reference to your subject.

In this unique session, you can experience the three divination methods I offer at the same time. Tarot, Lenormand and I Ching can be used together to analyse a subject from multiple angles and build a rich, detailed picture. This works really well for unpacking a specific problem, or exploring and getting to know yourself on a deeper level.
You also have the option of three smaller readings. These readings can cover three different subjects or areas in your life. This session offers a way for you to explore alternative divination methods whilst also gaining some intuitive insight into yourself and your chosen subject(s).
