The Strictly Hip have spent years and thousands of performances respectfully and accurately recreating the music of The Tragically Hip with remarkable attention to musical detail. Originally conceived in 1995 in St. Catharines, Ontario, and now based in Buffalo, the band has built a loyal following performing for devoted Hip fans across North America.

This is far from a campy impersonator act. The music is performed with reverence, heart, accuracy, and fun, creating a powerful and nostalgic experience that celebrates one of Canada’s most iconic rock bands.

Expect singalongs, air guitar, fists in the air, and the soundtrack of campfires, road trips, and backyard parties brought to the concert stage.

VIP Tickets:
Make the night extra special with a limited VIP rooftop dining package at Tappo. This experience includes a reserved rooftop patio table and a two-course prix fixe menu, giving guests a unique way to enjoy dinner while taking in the energy of the District Live Concert Series from above.

Each VIP ticket includes one first course and one second course from the menu below.

First Course — Choice of: Caesar Salad or Tuscan White Soup

Second Course — Choice of: Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Milanese, Spaghetti & Meatballs, or Orecchiette with Sausage

*After purchasing, VIP guests must call Tappo Restaurant directly at (716) 259-8130 to reserve their rooftop patio dining time. All guests included in the rooftop reservation must purchase a VIP ticket. Rooftop seating is limited, and reservations are based on availability.
